Socialization And Early Neurological Stimulation

Our goal as a premier breeder is to start early development at 3 to 5 days after date of birth. Each puppy will be played with, exercised, and LOVED by our entire family. Each day they are weighed, cleaned, and will get a puppy massage to stimulate the muscles and nerves throughout their body. Daily records will be kept to provide information how the puppies are growing each day. A lot can be done to help with neurological growth in the first couple weeks of our puppies life.

Here Are Five Unique Exercises Proven To Be Extremely Beneficial

1. Tactile stimulation - by holding the pup in one hand, gently tickle / stimulate the pup between their toes on any foot using a Q-tip. It is not necessary to see that the puppy is feeling the tickles. 5 seconds is all the time needed.

2. Head held Erect - using both hands. hold the puppy perpendicular to the ground, ( straight up ), so that the pups head is directly above its tail. This is done is a upward position. 3 to 5 seconds is all the time needed.

3. Head pointed down - this is exactly like #2 just opposite, by holding the puppy with both hands. hold the head toward the ground with the pups tail above them now. 3 to 5 seconds is all the time needed.

4. Supine position - by holding the pup so its back is resting in the palms of your hands with the nose pointing to the ceiling. 5 seconds is all the time needed.

5. Thermal Stimulation - by using a damp towel that has been chilled in the refrigerator for 5 or minutes, simply place the puppy on the towel feet first. Let the puppy move around. Do not force the puppy to stay in one spot. 5 seconds is all the time needed.

2. English Creams are excellent hunting dogs. Their calm demeanor and worker sensibilities are perfect traits for the hunting companion.

3. Life expectancy of Goldens is 10 to 12 years.

4. Goldens are a medium to large size dog at adult full growth. Males are typically 22" to 24" tall and weigh between 60 to 75 lbs. Females are just little bit smaller, 20" to 22" tall and weigh 55 to 70 lbs.

5. Goldens do shed throughout the year. They tend to shed more in the spring and fall months. Brushing their coats at least 2 times a week will help with the shedding process.
